PADDY LANE has come a long way in four years when, at the age of 15, he was released by Blackburn Rovers for being, like so many others, ‘too small’.
The bubble being burst on Lane’s burgeoning Blackburn career was almost enough for him to quit football, but now, four years later, the talented winger is back making a name for himself at Hyde United and is already turning heads again.
