HUNTER: LEAGUE HUNCH ‘COST US £125K!’

OUTSPOKEN Boreham Wood chairman Danny Hunter says an ill-advised prediction from a National League administrator has cost him £125,0000.
In a hard-hitting statement released on the eve of Tuesday’s board meeting, Hunter claims the unnamed National League representative of “wishful thinking” in his bold prognosis of the season’s finale, which he says ultimately cost the club dear in player contract extensions.
