Null and void was the worst option

SINCE football came to an end, I have read a lot of differing opinions in The NLP.
Should all leagues be treated the same? I would say not owing to differences in player contracts.
Should leagues declare champions, and should there be any promotions based on where teams were placed when the leagues were stopped?
And, if so, by which method? Points-per-game?
As hard as clubs have worked to get themselves into the top six/seven of their leagues, I cannot see how play-offs can take place. Other than heavily funded Premier League clubs, can anyone afford to play games behind closed doors?
