CHALFONT St Peter’s players have righted their wrongs of last season – by donating their pot of “naughty fines” to the local hospital.
The Isthmian South Central side have lived up to their nickname of the Saints by handing over £1,000 to staff at the Chalfont & Gerrards Cross Hospital fighting the coronavirus.
Collected for a myriad of real and imaginary offences committed during the 2019/20 campaign, the fines pool would normally have funded the endof- season party for the Buckinghamshire club, who still had an outside chance of making the...
