EAGER Simon Lane insists he had no qualms about following in Tony Reid’s giant footsteps at Westfield.
Reid led the Woking-based club to the Combined Counties League title in 2017-18 and they reached the Isthmian South Central Division play-offs last term.
They were on course for the play-offs again this season, lying fifth, when the campaign came to a halt in March.
