BOROUGH ACQUIRE HOME TO SECURE A FUTURE

PLAN: Redditch Borough

A STEP 7 club which faced being homeless in 2017 has bagged a 30-year lease on a new facility less than a mile from its old stomping ground.
Breakaway club Redditch Borough - primarily responsible for the youth section at Redditch United - have found a new base at Mettis Sports & Social Club in nearby Batchley.
Disused changing rooms were revamped while dugouts, pathways and covered standing accommodation were built from scratch with the help of volunteers involved in Borough’s 30 teams.
