MALTBY’S LOCKOUT SETBACK

MALTBY Main have been locked out of their Muglet Lane home by their landlords.
On Monday, the trustees of Maltby Colliery Institute and Recreation Ground Scheme moved in to close the ground – home of the Northern Counties East Premier Division club since 1916 – and changed the locks.
CISWO (Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation) has now taken back control of the ground, which is also home to the junior side, who were due to train there this week, and Maltby Cricket Club.
