FAWCETT WALKING – AFTER 2 WEEKS

KENDAL Town have begun a fresh search for a third manager in less than a month following Gary Fawcett’s decision to quit – within a fortnight of taking the job.
Coach Fawcett was promoted to take over the role vacated by Steve Edmondson last month with the Mintcakes just one place above the relegation zone in the Northern Premier League Division One North West when the season ended in March.
But just 14 days later, Fawcett announced he was to stand down, citing work commitments.
