ALTRINCHAM survived a late fight back from ten-man Chester to set-up a semi-final showdown with York City.
Phil Parkinson’s side were seemingly cruising to victory with goals from Josh Hancock and a double from Elliott Durrell putting them three in front.
But the Blues, who had seen John Johnston sent off in controversial circumstances, pulled one back through George Glendon just after the hour mark, before Matty Hughes set-up a tense finale with a little more than ten minutes left on the clock.
