YORK City manager Steve Watson will turn his attention to building a squad fit for promotion after committing his future to the Minstermen.
The former Newcastle and Everton defender – whose side lost 2-0 to Altrincham in last weekend’s National League North playoff semi-final – has signed a oneyear extension to his current deal.
