JERMAINE PENNANT is weighing up a move to Redditch United.
The former Liverpool and Arsenal star played for the Reds in their midweek 1-0 friendly win over Studley.
Pennant, a Champions League runner-up with Liverpool in 2007, 37, said: “I know the sporting director here and he asked me if I fancied coming down because I’ve moved back to Birmingham now.
“I thought, ‘you know what, let’s give it a go’ so I’ve got the boots back out and trained with the boys. They seem like a great bunch of lads.
