Stricken captain receives support
HYDE United captain Jordan Fagbola says the club have gone “above and beyond” by setting up a fundraiser to aid his recovery from a horror injury.
Fagbola, 26, ruptured his achilles tendon in training last week and faces up to a year on the sidelines.
The injury - which will require an operation - also means he will have to take time off work as a nutritionist for a gym in Bolton.
Yet the NPL side have pledged to honour the defender’s contract, and even created a gofundme page aimed at raising £5...
