LEAGUE CUP GETS THE BOOT

THE Northern Counties East League has cancelled its league cup for the coming season.
The management made the decision because of the uncertainty surrounding the start date for the new season and the need to ease any possible future fixture congestion.
This decision is for next season only and the cup will return for the 2021/22 campaign.
The move follows the decision by the Northern League to suspend its Brooks Mileson Memorial League Cup for 2020/21. Meanwhile, all outstanding fixtures in last season’s Southern Combination Challenge Cup have been declared null and void.
