STOCKPORT’S pre-season programme began with a curtain-raiser against Fleetwood behind closed doors at the Hatters’ Carrington training facility.
Two first-half goals saw the League One club triumph over County, who fielded different line-ups either side of the break - and introduced all their summer arrivals bar Jordan Williams.
Fleetwood took the lead after 16 minutes, Josh Morris slotting home from close range.
