THE opening half was short on action until the final minute when Alex Bray put the visitors ahead from the best move of the 45 minutes.
Before then Chippenham had seen an early Marlon Jackson effort chalked off for off side while Supermarine’s most threatening attacks came from Michael Hopkins free kicks and two fruitless efforts from Zack Kotwica.
Kotwica’s luck continued to be out as he saw his free kick deflected behind whilst Jared Thompson come out on top in a one on one. Chippenham’s Bradley Ash saw his shot deflected behind.
