JACEK Zielonka landed a big catch for the Trawlermen with a brace of penalties to kickstart their league campaign in style.
The Polish midfielder struck from 12 yards in either half as Lowestoft came from behind against a lively Barwell team.
The hosts took the lead – also from a spotkick – when Brady Hickey fired home on 32 minutes after Leandro Browne was fouled.
Lowestoft then saw a goal ruled out for offside on the stroke of half-time but still went into the break level after a stoppage time penalty by Zielonka.
