YATE bounced straight back from their cup defeat in midweek.
Ollie Mehew almost set up an early goal for the home side when he battled to win the ball before passing to Jordan Williams who crashed his effort against the crossbar.
It was only a matter of time before pressure from the home side led to a goal and this duly arrived after 14 minutes when Williams’ freekick eluded everyone in a crowded goalmouth and ended up in the net.
It was 2-0 after 24 minutes following the best move of the game.
