BURGESS HILL TOWN were left to rue missed chances as they left the Kent coast empty-handed.
The Hillians started off on the front foot with Nathan Cooper heading a free-kick straight at keeper Dan Eason.
Unfortunately, it was the Oystermen who took the lead, when Tijan Jadama headed in a swift counter down the right.
Pumped up from a frustrating first half, the Hillians won a penalty just a minute into the second half, when Alex Laing was brought down. He picked himself up only to see his spot kick saved by Eason.
