CHELMSFORD CITY earned their first win of the season while dishing out a first defeat for Maidstone United.
Neither team looked particularly likely to break the deadlock in the first half but Maidstone were the more likely candidates with George Porter forcing a good save out of Lee Worgan in the Chelmsford goal with 28 minutes gone.
