WORKINGTON ran out winners at Ingfield in what was a much tighter contest than the result suggested.
The opening half was very open but both sides struggled to break the other down.
Both sides looked to play good football in wet conditions.
The opening goal came on the stroke of half-time when Scott Allison turned home a left-wing cross to put the Cumbrian side ahead.
An almost identical goal early in the second half by Ruben Jerome made the score comfortable, with the icing on the cake a towering header by Brad Hubbold.
