HIGH-FLYERS Halesowen gained a deserved victory over Daventry and it could have been more.
The home side, who were on the back of three defeats in a row, adapted better to the wet conditions and took the lead after 19 minutes when Jamie Molyneux half-volleyed in from outside the box.
Daventry’s only real chance came on 29 minutes when Taylor Orosz found himself with just the Halesowen goalkeeper Brendon Bunn to beat but Bunn did well to save.
