AFTER dropping their first points against Chipstead in midweek, the Abbotts responded emphatically against Northwood despite going a goal down.
After a lively start by the away team, they took the lead when Aaron Morgan put away a goalmouth scramble in the tenth minute. But that only spurred on Abbey, who soon showed why they were top. A minute later Jason Hallett equalised and, 23 minutes on, he had his hat-trick, his next two goals coming either side of Billly Holland’s effort.
