■ RAMSBOTTOM went top after a hard-fought victory over Prescot Cables.
The Rams led after 12 minutes when Mason Fawns had an effort blocked before it landed at the feet of Tony Donaldson who made no mistake.
Prescot equalised just after the half-hour mark through former Rams man Jamie Rainford who came back to haunt them, slotting in at the back post.
The turning point came after 72 minutes as Prescot defender Rodrigo Schmitdinger was shown a red card following an altercation with Domaine Rouse.
