WE’VE BEEN down this road before at Chesterfield – this is a big managerial appointment now.
I feel for John Pemberton, who left the club following their midweek defeat to Altrincham. The fact of the matter is their squad is just not good enough.
John tried to keep with the same philosophy and get them on the up again. They’ve lost some key players but they were still part of groups that have underachieved since their relegation into this division.
