ALDERSHOT Town finally ended their torrid FA Trophy record with a clinical victory while simultaneously ending a historic run for Welwyn Garden City.
The tie was dubbed the biggest game in the Citizens’ history and they gave a good account of themselves, but ultimately ran out of steam as the Shots’ quality shone through.
