COUNTING ON IT: Notts County inflicted a rare defeat on Stockport County

JAKE REEVES’ first-half strike fi red Notts County up to third in the table - and preventing promotion rivals Stockport County in darting menacingly into the play-off places.
Reeves struck the only goal 10 minutes before half-time with a fi ne finish after good work from Richard Brindley.
Magpies keeper Sam Slocombe denied John Rooney with a superb first-half stop, before then keeping out Richie Bennett after the break to subject Stockport to just a second defeat in nine games.
