Is it now time for a Euro-style merger?

MAYBE, just maybe, some good will come out of all the uncertainty surrounding the suspension of Step 2 of the National League. Now is the time for Steps 1 and 2 to be regionalised into North and South along with League Two.
This would give the reduced costs of travel and the increased revenue of more local derby fixtures a massive boost to all the struggling clubs up and down the country.
