Lee Phillips appointed at St Blazey

FORMER Plymouth Argyle, Exeter City and Torquay United striker Lee Phillips has been appointed as the third member of the new management team at crisis club South Western League Premier West outfit St Blazey.

New manager Phil Lafferty has appointed Phillips, 40, as first team coach under him and his assistant Jay Isbell, the former St Dennis boss.

Phillips has also played for Weymouth, Newport County, Cambridge United, Rushden & Diamonds, Bath City and Chippenham Town.

He has coached at Saltash United but is now looking to take his first steps in management.
