Tatt’s the way to do it! Jonathan Van-Tam’s Boston United vow

The 57-year-old Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England, told of his intention to honour his allegiance to the National League North Pilgrims to Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday

TOP Government aide Jonathan Van-Tam has already planned his post-lockdown treat – a tattoo of his beloved Boston United on his left shoulder!

The 57-year-old Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England, told of his intention to honour his allegiance to the National League North Pilgrims to Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday.

Van-Tam was prepared for a question about body art when Morgan claimed headteachers should not be tattooed.

“I’m primed for this,” Van- Tam, a devout season ticket holder at York Street, said.

“But it’s about whether, when the moment is right, when all this pressure is finished and maybe I’m in a quieter phase of my career, I’ll have a little left deltoid BUFC (for Boston United Football Club),” he told, pointing to his left bicep. “A massive club.”

Morgan responded: “I think I can let you have a pass on that.”
