FARNBOROUGH and Slough Town – both missing regulars through injury – battled out a hard-fought draw.
Farnborough defender Jordan Rose had to be alert to deflect a Joe Lawal shot from close range on 22 minutes, before the hosts’ big-name signing Sam Deering struck just off-target from distance.
Boro’s Adam Coombes drew a smart low save from Jonathan North just moments before a leftback trialist forced the Slough keeper to tip a long-range strike around the post.
