HEBBURN Town claimed the annual JR Cleator Cup with victory at former Northern League rivals West Auckland.

NPL newcomers Hebburn trailed at the break but hit back strongly in the second half.
Ollie Martin shot wide from distance for the Hornets early on, Mark Foden saving from Jordan Blinco at the other end.
Amar Purewal’s header went wide of the home post on the half-hour, West keeper Ross Coombe then denying Martin.
Auckland had the breakthrough two minutes from the break when Arron Thompson scored from the spot after a handball in the box. ...
