■ THE game was over as a contest as early as the 20th minute as Luke Dean was shown a straight red card for a high tackle on Aaron Haswell.
Ossett United controlled much of the game but, with Yorkshire Amateur defending in numbers, chances were few and far between.
The closest to a goal in the opening half saw Ross Hardaker hit a post, with Matt Dempsey clearing off the line as James Walshaw closed in.
Ossett started the second half well and got the only goal of the game through Haswell, who finished well in the corner.
