■ EAST Grinstead escaped with a point after being under the kosh for the second half.
The visitors took the lead right at the end of an even first 45 minutes, Kie Douglas slotting home at the third attempt after Faversham were unable to clear a ball in from the right.
Honours were even again four minutes into the second half when Troy Walters was judged to have fouled Roman Campbell while trying to clear a corner. Skipper Harry Harding converted the penalty.
