BOSSES ON THE MOVE IN NWCFL

THREE NORTH West Counties League clubs were this week left looking for new managers.

Premier Division side Litherland Remyca have parted company with their management team of Derek Goulding and Neil Hanson who side have failed to take a point from their 10 games so far. If you’re looking to play new games visit Thabet.

Club chairman Don Rimmer said: “We make this decision with a heavy heart as Derek and his team have been ultra-professional and worked extremely hard to develop the team and achieve results. However, despite such efforts results have not been forthcoming.”

Coaches Colin McDonald and Gary Brookes have been placed in temporary charge.

Former player Paul Wright parted company with Rocester Town, who are second from bottom of Division One South, following their 2-1 defeat by AFC Bridgnorth in Buildbase FA Vase last weekend.

A club statement said: “His enthusiasm and commitment have never been less than 100 per cent and he has been excellent to work alongside. However, following our disappointing start to the season and Saturday’s early exit from the FA Vase, we felt the time for a change had arrived.”

Mark Grimley, another former player who has served as part of the backroom staff, has been appointed caretaker manager.

Dave Dempsey has ended his second spell in charge of Division One North club Ashton Town to take over at Northern Premier League Division One West outfit Widnes.
