ASHFORD United progressed with victory over Chalfont St Peter.
Chalfont goalkeeper Andy McCorkell was the visiting side’s star of the show, denying Jack Steventon and Jay May.
The Nuts & Bolts dominated but struggled to create clear openings.
It seemed obvious one sudden counter-attack from Chalfont could catch Ashford out – and it did.
On the hour mark, Shamal Edwards gave the Southern Central side the lead, and that seemed to wake Warrilow’s side up.
