JAMES Rowe believes Chesterfield will come back stronger after suffering their first league defeat of the season – but knows performances must be better.
The Spireites lost 3-1 at Woking on Tuesday night having led through Saidou Khan’s extraordinary strike from inside his own half.
The goal, at the time, put Chesterfield top of the National League and in that moment not even the torrential rain could dampen what has been an astounding first ten months in the job for Rowe.
