CHESHUNT powered past Cray thanks to a four-goal second-half display.
Both teams came into the match with positive form. But after defences dominated early on an enforced first-half change helped the Ambers.
The first-half’s best chance fell to the Wands’ Chris Dickson, whose rising shot from a tight angle drew a superb reflex save from Ambers keeper George Marsh.
The 28th-minute substitution of injured Zubayr Boadi with Mo Camara changed the Cheshunt dynamic.
