■ ASHFORD United defeated Whitstable Town on their return to Homelands.
The Nuts & Bolts were guilty of a misfiring opening 45 minutes, though Tommie Fagg did put Warrilow’s men ahead.
In the second-half, Ashford were left to rue their missed chances as a spirited Whitstable side stepped up after a stern talking to.
Muhammed Cham was the Oystermen’s main danger man on the day and he would’ve scored hadn’t it of been for an outstanding reaction save from Tyler McCarthy.
