■AFTER a slow start by both teams, the game between Faversham and Whitehawk come to life in the 16th minute. A corner was swung in by Allsop, resulting in a scramble in the goal mouth and Joe Denny seized his chance and toe-poked home.
The second half was bitty with no team taking the game by the scruff of the neck, although Denny had a pointblank header saved from a corner. In the 64th minute, a ball was put through to Grant and he had his legs taken from him earning a penalty.
