EAGLES SOAR TO NEXT ROUND

BEDFORD advanced to the next round after victory over Stafford Rangers at the Eyrie.
The Eagles started well, taking the lead against their step three opponents. Rory McAuley headed home following a corner in the eighth minute.
Four minutes on and Connor Tomlinson’s square ball was sidefooted in by Callum Donnelly.
Stafford took the game to Bedford after the break, but Town scored a third when Tomlinson went on a great solo run on the hour, striking past Luke Pilling.
