JACK Byrne struck less than four minutes into his first home match back at Redditch to secure a scrappy point for the strugglers.
Midfielder Byrne, who went on to shine at Kidderminster and Solihull after being plucked from the Reds, was left unmarked to thump into the top corner from Tiago Nassunculo’s swirling free-kick.
High-flying Rushall dominated territory from there but lacked quality.
Richard Batchelor missed the target from close range and Tyler Little’s dipping free-kick flashed narrowly wide....
