■ WORKINGTON claimed their third successive win courtesy of a 47th-minute penalty by Dav Symington after Kyle Harrison had been bought down.
Symington should have doubled the lead midway through the half, but from a second penalty he saw his shot saved by Mitchell Allen.
It was Allen who produced the two best saves of the game, going full length in the first half to hold a shot from Brad Hubbold, and then later in the game, to turn aside a fierce shot from the hard-working Steven Rigg.
