■ THE local derby went the way of the form book at a freezing cold Mill Meadow, leaving Chalfont St Peter still struggling at the wrong end of the table.
The first half was very even with little to choose between the sides.
Few chances were created, but just before the break a mistake in defence allowed Duncan Culley to pounce and finish from close range to put Bracknell ahead.
The second period saw Chalfont trying to get back into the contest, but the leaders made the game safe on the hour mark when Dave Tarpey volleyed home.
