HAYWARDS Heath Town continued their excellent start to the season with a deserved win against promotion rivals Hastings United.
The visitors almost opened the scoring after seven minutes when Ben Pope’s shot was blocked on the line.
But at the other end, Heath’s Josh Clack cut inside from the right wing and curled a superb shot into the top corner.
While Hastings had the majority of possession, they did so without creating any clear-cut chances.
