■ WILLAND proved too strong for the home side in this Devon derby There was plenty of endeavour in the first half, with Louis Jagger-Cane prominent for Willand.
Kevin Squire battled away up front for Barnstaple and had an effort saved by George Burton. Jagger- Cane gave the visitors the lead in the 38th minute, scoring from the edge of the box into the top corner.
