TOM WRAIGHT’S goal on his Hornchurch debut 15 minutes from time was enough to separate the two teams at Bridge Avenue.
The Urchins went ahead 16 minutes into a first half during which they failed to register a shot on goal.
Liam Nash’s in-swinging corner caused havoc and the ball deflected into the net off an unsuspecting Simon Cooper.
Kingstonian responded well and levelled on 35 minutes when Daniel Ajakaiye found space on the left before firing past Urchins keeper Joe Wright.
