MATLOCK got back to winning ways with a disciplined performance that gradually drew the sting from a committed Celtic.
After a pedestrian first half where the two teams basically cancelled each other out, the game burst into life just before the break with Celtic stopper Will Huffer twice denying the visitors with superb reaction saves, the first from Callum Chippendale’s fierce drive and the second halting a wicked deflection off Connor O’Grady from finding the bottom corner.
