■ YAXLEY battled hard to earn their third away win of the season at Spalding.
Andrew Furnell’s side started brightly at the Sir Halley Stewart Field and were ahead after just 14 minutes when Spalding failed to clear a free kick and Pierre Omombe-Epoyo took full advantage.
The hosts were reduced to ten, ten minutes later though when Chris Ward was sent off following an off the ball incident.
Things went from bad to worse for Spalding when Spencer Tinkler made it two in the 32nd minute.
Down but not out, however, Josh Hinds pulled one back seven...
