■ MOSSLEY started strongly, despite coming into the game on the back of seven defeats.
Mason Fawns, Harry Pratt, and Jack Bannister all had chances for the home side, while Colne also looked a threat on the break.
As the first half looked to be heading for a stalemate, Matty Morgan picked the ball up, took a touch, and curled a beautiful effort into the top corner for the visitors in the 45th minute.
Colne stopper Hakan Burton held firm between the sticks after the break, holding off a Mossley onslaught.
