■ NORTHWOOD missed the opportunity to drag Thatcham into the relegation battle as the Kingfishers grabbed an 85th-minute winner.
Both sides had opportunities in the opening half, but neither keeper was seriously tested.
Alex Miller went close for the visitors while Matteo Esposito might have done better for
Northwood. The contest opened up after the break with Woods’ keeper Dan Hosier making great saves to deny Glenn Kusel-Gabriel and Harvey Harry.
At the other end, the Thatcham rearguard stood strong against growing Northwood pressure....
